TUF Good for Casual Fans; BAD fo HARDCORE FANS!!!

I see how the UFC wants to keep pushing this TUF show to bring in mo' casual fans, and build the sports popularity, but this 4-5 month ordeal that puts off fights way past their due date is GETTING OLD!

"Matt Hughes vs Matt Serra" could have happened somewhere between UFC 75-80 (PRIOR to Serra's injury) but didn't happen until UFC 98!

"Rampage vs Rashad" Evans could have happened sometime around August or September of last year. PRIOR to the filming of A-Team!

Now we have to wait on "GSP vs Koscheck" when it could be easily set fo' sometime around UFC 118! And who knows what kinda injuries can occur, or new contenders could be made while waiting for the TUF 12 episodes to playout on Spike tv.

NOTE: If Jake Shields is signed by the UFC and fights at 170, TUF will have successfully postponed another fight (assuming GSP beats Koscheck). A fight mo' realistic than "GSP vs Anderson Silva" seeing how Shields is OK with jumping weight classes.

Why so much hate fo Tim Sylvia???

It's easy! He doesn't have a 6 pack like many overhyped fighters in the UFC who have a huge fan base.

How to have a huge fan base:
1. Fight in the UFC

2. Have a 6 pack, and/or a tan.

3. Ex-TUF member is a bonus!

Sylvia has none of those 3, and SINCE he has none of those 3 he's vulnerable to being underrated and stepped on by MMA fans. (Especially the new ones who came over from WWE where tans, 6 packs, and wrestling were how fans picked their favorite character!)

Many people forget Tim started his career 16-0, and his record since that 16-0 start is 10-6! Let's put this in perspective by comparing Tim's last 16 to the last 16 fights of many "nuthugged" fighters.

Randy Couture? 9-7
Wanderlei Silva? 9-7

Chuck Liddell? 10-6

Tito Ortiz? 10-5-1

BJ Penn? 10-5-1
Frank Mir? 11-5
Forrest Griffin? 11-5

Many also forget his Top 10 wins over

1. Ricco Rodriguez
2. Andrei Arlovski x2
3. Jeff Monson (Monson was ranked. LOOK IT UP!)
4. and an UNDEFEATED Brandon Vera
Not to mention he was a mouse fart away from TKO'ing Nogueira, when Nogueira still had some of his prime left!

I hope this clears things up. TIM IS A HALL OF FAME MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST! I know people will bring up Ray Mercer, but a puncher's chance is a puncher's chance. Sylvia would beat Mercer 9 out of 10 times and that's just a fact.

Oh yeah. I'm not a Sylvia fan either. Just want to help educate people as to why Tim's getting so much hate.

Miguel Torres vs Joseph Benavidez WEC 47 Fight Video

Fight Video Link: http://wec-videos.blogspot.com/2010/03/torres-benavidez-video-wec-47.html

Damn man! Talk about a shocker. Benavidez must of been a 6 to 1 dog in that fight. Gotta give him credit. He had the balls, and EXPLOSIVITY needed to mount the upset.

From the beginning of the fight he took the center of the cage, and you could tell that really messed with Miguel's head. He the one that supposed to be the superior striker, and he was forced to dance around Benavidez. Basically rendered to a pop and move style that I'm SURE wasn't his game plan.

Really sucks to see Torres lose 2 in a row. We all know that's the magic number where bandwagon bitches jump ship, and do a full 180 on what used to be they favorite fighter. Fuck that shit! War TORRES!

...and while I'm at it? War ARLOVSKI... Cro Cop... Wanderlei... Phil Baroni!!!!

Ok I was kiddin about Phil Baroni. HEHEH!!!

Alistair Overeem vs Brett Rogers May 15th at Strikeforce

Judging by the snapshot above from Alistair Overeem's twitter, he gonna be fighting Brett Rogers next. So for all of us wondering who the hell Fedor Emelianenko gonna fight next? We can figure this out with some basic math.

Fabricio Werdum - Alistair Overeem = Fedor's Next Opponent!

Not 100% sure but the next STRIKEFORCE card, May 15th, is gonna look something like this.

Main Event:
Fedor Emelianenko vs Fabricio Werdum
Gegard Mousasi vs Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal
Alistair Overeem vs Brett Rogers
Dan Henderson vs (SOMEBODY)

That's a killer card right there even with it half established!

Who can beat Cain Velasquez? (Cain Velasquez vs Cheick Kongo Fight Video UFC 99)

Everyone keep askin' me. "Todd. Who the hell gonna beat Cain? He's a monster"!

Well Cain basically on a roll, plus he's hungry, plus he gotta good camp. So, it's hard seein anyone stoppin the Cain Train right now, but I still did some MMA calculatin on Cain and compiled a list of guys I think would have the best chance of beating him if he was matched up with them in his very next fight.

#10.Shane Carwin
#9. Bobby Lashley
#8. Frank Mir
#7. Brett "The Grim" Rogers
#6. Andrei "The Pit Bull" Arlovski
#5. Brock "The Cock" Lesnar
#4. Alistair Overeem
#3. Fedor "The Last Emperor" Emelianenko
#2. Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal
#1. Junior Dos Santos

I know some of these dudes ain't signed, and some of these dudes scheduled fo other fights but this is a HYPOTHETICAL list. Shit man. I also come baring gifts! Below is a pretty decent fight between Cheick Kongo, and Cain Velasquez. The only guy so far to drop Cain in the octagon.

Also, I'd only put my money on the top 3 fighters. Any dude after 3 I think Cain Velasquez has a REALLY good chance of beatin.

UFC 110 Predictions...

YoutTube uploader givin me a shit of a time. It's like a bitch, but you can't slap her into reality. You just gotta wait fo her to stop bitchin!

Stephan Bonnar vs Krzysztof Soszynski

Lotta people seein Bonnar on tilt. He not resembling the old Bonnar, but guess what mi compadres?!?! Bonnar is a terrible match up fo Soszynski. We gonna have a submission here. 1st oh 2nd round!

Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic vs. Anthony Perosh

Ay I see Perosh a pretty good submission dude, but Cro Cop was trainin fo Rothwell. All that intensity, and fury Rothwell was gonna catch Mr Perosh will catch instead. We gonna have ourselves a TKO in this. Cro Cop still got really good takedown defense, and his left still crisp.

Ryan Bader vs. Keith Jardine

I gotta quote my amigo Sean up in this. They is a point where "unorthodox is shitty", but that shittiness is gonna cause problems fo Bader. I predict a boring fight. Probably the fight of the night when it comes to Sherdoggers bitchin about who won the decision. Jardine by SPLIT DECISION.

Joe Stevenson vs. George Sotiropoulos

Ay I like Joe-Daddy, but I almost always find myself pickin against him. This time no different. Sotiropoulos by Triangle choke. George's height, and the length of his legs is gonna pose a problem fo Stevenson.

Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping

Wanderlei would have the 1st round KO in this. He even said it himself if I'm not mistaken, but what no one got input in they MMA calculators is the fact Bisping know this too, and he gonna do some runnin if he can't take Wanderlei to the ground. The Axe Murderer by 2nd round KO.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez

Ok man this is the fight people is split on. A lot of people thinkin Nogueira got this in the bag, but I haven't seen the Nogueira of old yet, in the octagon. He's slowed down and taken a ton of punishment. I think Cain is gonna show that he is strong like an Ox and has the ability to overpower a 33 year old Nogueira's Jiu Jitsu. Yep I said it man. Can't believe I did but I did. Cain by Unanimous Decision, oh TKO.

I'm out!

MMA and Fanboys - ToddMMA

In every sport there seems to be people who defend their favorite team no matter what. We got rivalries like the Lakers vs Celtics; Vikings vs Packers; Yankees vs Red Sox, etc. With fans involved in these rivalries it's hard to take they opinion as truth, because of the obvious bias, and it's understandable. They stayin loyal to they teams, and they ain't backin down.

BUT...? MMMA!!! MMA has brought to the table a whole different type of wagon jumper. A person who has no loyalty to a fighter that isn't winning. This person will defend the front runner until the AM hours of the morning on chat boards, posting the same pictures, and launchin the same insults until they fall asleep with they face on the keyboard and their Brock Lesnar (or GSP, or Fedor, or Shogun, or Bisping) action figure in hand! This person is the nutwaxin, scrotum adherent FANBOY!

Why do people hug so hard, the nuts of MMA fighters??? I really couldn't tell you fo sure, but recent studies show that a FanBoy usually fits into a majority of the following qualifications.

-Ignorant to any type of combat
-Former or current WWE fan
-Severely in love with a fighters tattoo oh six pack
-Needs somethin to keep 'em busy til next football season
-Took Karate fo 3months to 5 years
-Feels bound by they race to support a fighter
-Really likes a fighters tattoo oh six pack

The biggest motivation fo nuthuggin, from my experiences with fanboys, is the need to associate. A fanboy usually nuthugs on the fighter he most wants to be like. When you break it down it's pretty petty, but when you see the pure paper tiger ferocity of these nutchewin, asshagglers all sympathy falls to the curb.

My final verdict? Let these little sunday suzies be the little bitches they is, and let the hardcores rise to the top. Stompin out all the irrational, one-sided arguments of the fanboys with MMA expertise, and bipartisanship! ... with the occasional insults of course! HEHEH!!!

Strikeforce "Miami"... So Far so Good. -Todd

In case you didn't know we got that Strikeforce launchin' another card that seems to be takin shape quite well. Main event gonna be Zaromskis vs Diaz. A fight EVERY hardcore gonna be lookin forward to. Not to mention Melvin Manhoef is gonna be takin on "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler which should make fo' some fireworks if you know what I mean?!

This card gonna be really good fo' two reasons. Hardcore MMA fans gonna watch it because they really good matchups, and two? People just channel surfin gonna accidentally stumble upon a card filled with action. That's what makes channel surfers put down they controller! When they see a fight like Manhoef vs Lawler with both guys swinging fo the lights and the crowd sounds like they at a Pantera concert!

As of late Strikeforce has been the organization providin dream fights that deliver in intensity and action. Ok, ok! Except fo Shields vs Mayhem Miller. I know! But other than that Strikeforce has gone far and beyond what they were expected to do, and this "Miami" card is just another step in the trail that they blazin'!

Below is the fight card as it stands right now. I will elaborate mo' in a future video about fighters such as Del Rosario, Lashley, Heiron, and the Hersch' Man!

STRIKEFORCE 'Miami'-

Marius Zaromskis vs Nick Diaz
Cyborg Santos vs Marloes Coenen
Robbie Lawler vs Melvin Manhoef
Jay Heiron vs Joe Riggs
