ToddMMA TOP 10 Pound for Pound!

(Don't know who I am??? Betta run a google search dawg!!!)

You might be in the same boat as me. Tired as shit of bullshit rankings. Well no worries! I got the real "MMA top 10 Pound fo Pound"! No organizations buyin spots on this rankings list. Get it while it's hot mi amigos! ........ oh yeah the dude pictured above is Tyron Woodley!

10. Jon Jones (9-1) - Although this dude lost his last fight on a DQ, it did nothing but gain him a spot on ToddMMA's top 10! He let loose a destruction of Matt Hamill, and a downward elbow spoiled his night. No big deal. No big deal at all! Jon "Bones" Jones... #10!!!

9. Frankie Edgar (11-1) - Frankie was #10 on my last P4P list, and has moved up to #9 after his beat down of Matt Veach at the TUF 10 Finale. Frankie Edgreezey! #9!!!

8. Tyron Woodley (6-0) - Now just because no one knows about this dude, don't mean he doesn't rank on the P4P! His actual record is somewhere around 13 oh 14-0. These websites really need to update they shit. If you ask me, after about 2 mo fights this man could be the guy to dethrone Georges St. Pierre as the welterweight king! Tyron Woodley... get to know him because he at #8!!!

7. Lyoto Machida (16-0) - After Machida's performance against Shogun, he's been droppin. I know you guys probably thinkin what the hell!?!?! 7!?! And I say unto you... Yes... Lyoto Machida... #7!!!

6. Georges St. Pierre (19-2) - Don't even trip. St. Pierre has made a career out of fightin guys 10 and 20 pounds smaller than him. Why do you think he doesn't want to move up to 185??? Not to mention he hasn't really been challenged by the best welterweight contenders because the best contenders is in Strikeforce. If GSP FINISHES Hardy he will move up this list. Georges St. Pierre... #6!!!

5. Jose Aldo (16-1) - The best MMA guy no one knew about until he kicked the crap out of Mike Brown. I haven't seen a contender dethrone a champion so well since Fedor took the PRIDE Fc Heavyweight belt from Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Jose Aldo... #5!!!

4. BJ Penn (15-5) - The guy Freddie Roach said has the best boxing in MMA, and I just might have to agree with that. BJ dominated Diego Sanchez like no one else has. If it wasn't fo Diego having a granite chin, that fight would have only been a minute long. Not to mention BJ has no regard fo weightclasses which is evidence that BJ Penn might have titanium nuts. BJ Penn... #4!!!

3. Anderson Silva (25-4) - Anderson Silva. The Roy Jones of MMA. The Neo... of MMA. The man who dodges punches befo they even thrown! 'Nough said. Anderson Silva... #3!!!

2. Gegard Mousasi (27-2) - 14-0 over the last 3 years. 12 of those 14 fights were finished by either submission oh KO. Gegard's last 5 opponents had a combined record of 79-23 at the time they fought Mousasi, and he's finished all 5 of those guys including Sobral, and Jacare Souza by KO. Gegard "The Crazy Armenian" Mousasi... #2!!!

1. Fedor Emelianenko (31-1) - Fedor Emelianenko... #1!!!

PAUL BUENTELLO BACK IN ACTION AT UFC 107!!!

Hell yeah! Hell motherfrickin' YEAH!!!

Is anyone else excited about Paul Buentello's return to the octagreezey? Anyone who knows Todd knows I'm a big fan of standin' and bangin' when you throw down. I'm not a fan of these dudes who try to win on points, oh patty cake fight by thinkin mo strikes is better (i.e. Houston Alexander 1st round against Kimbo). If you gonna fight on the stand up, you better be well trained, and you better have balls, and that's EXACTLY Paul Buentello's approach. That's why they call him the "Headhunter"!

Well now that I toed the line of nutwaxin' just to get my point across, I think win or lose Buentello is gonna be that spark in the Heavyweight division the UFC needs. The guy who don't give a fuck, and can KO anybody on any given night. A natural born striker with the instincts to do just that.

Paul Buentello gonna make his much anticipated return at UFC 107 against the 6'11" young-gun Stefan Struve. Tune in oh tune out, and watch it on replay. Oh tune in on livestream on some random ass website. No big deal just watch that dang fight because it could be KO of the night!

Strikeforce stacking the Middleweights; Manhoef & Henderson on board

If you've been sleepin the past 3 to 4 months, oh have been participating in the UFC injury drama/fill in the blank Pay Per Views, you might not have noticed some of the mo important news in MMA regarding other organizations.

Melvin Manhoef (23-6), and Dan "Don't make fun of my missin tooth 'cause I'll slam you" Henderson (25-7) have recently signed multi-fight deals with Strikeforce. This not only stacks the Middleweights, but also brings together 3 of the fighters that most MMA fans consider threats to Anderson Silva at 185. Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza, Melvin "The 5'8" Giant" Manhoef, and Dan Henderson. Yeah I know! Dan already lost to Silva, but he did earn a title shot, and a re-match that never happened. Not to mention he's on fire as of late.

So here's what "Strikefarces" Middleweight division looks like. And I ca't believe people keep sayin they's no competition over there?!?

Middleweight Division (171-185):

1. Jake Shields (24-4)
2. "Jacare" Souza (10-2)
3. Matt Lindland (21-6)
4. Tim Kennedy (11-2)
5. Mayhem Miller (22-7)
6. Melvin Manhoef (23-6)
7. Robbie Lawler (18-5)
8. Cung Le (6-0)
9. Luke Rockhold (6-1)
10. Scott Smith (16-6)

ToddMMA Commentary: K-1 World GP 2009

K-1 World GP 2009 (Commentary)

Dang man this K-1 came out BLAZING! The production value, & "The Voice" Mike Schiavello & Ray Sefo ringside adding an Olympiad atmosphere to the whole GP. Everybody's pumped up as shit starts kickin off!

Gokhan Saki vs Peter Aerts

Man Aerts came to this fight IN SHAPE! Dude's 38 years old and is shredded up. Ray Sefo makes the comment he wants to know Aerts' diet.

1st Round: I scored 10-10. A bunch of low kicks and body kicks thrown by Aerts, and Saki but no damage at all. Aerts looks like the stronger fighter but Saki puts together combos really well and is clearly faster.

2nd Round: Aerts starts to chip away at Saki. Picking Saki apart with low kicks, and body kicks. Peter even threw in a Ryu spinning back-fist that missed, but allegedly broke the sound barrier. Saki's best weapon is his left hook, but it's not enough as Aerts drops Saki with 10 seconds left in the round. "The Voice" and Sefo call the fight as over, but Saki get's up at the 9.5sec count and is saved by the bell!
10-8 fo peter Aerts that round.

3rd Round: is a carbon copy of the second without the knockdown, and Saki manages to throw a Ryu back fist of his own that knock down Aerts without even landing. Aerts slipped because he was off balance when dodging (refutes reports of damage due to supersonic activity).
10-9 fo Aerts that round.

Ruslan Karaev vs Badr Hari

Dang man Hari's gettin swole too! What the shit him and Aerts eatin? Meanwhile Karaev is crip-walkin his way to the ring with some techno music playin in the background.

1st Round:
These dudes come out swingin. Hari gets the better of the exchanges and drops Karaev! Deeeeeeaaaaang! Karaev gets up though and get's back to action, and they get back to swingin! Same results, but they call the fight this time. Hari KO at 38 seconds of the first round.

Cecil Peoples scores the fight 10-9 Karaev. Karaev allegedly landed a low kick.

Alistair Overeem vs Ewerton Teixeira

Ewerton rollin out to sweet ass lounge music with sweet ass dreads! Really feelin this dude's style. OHHHH WTF!?!?! Overeem comin out to some jank ass black-eyed peas "Tonight's gonna be a good night". Shit Alistair you goin' to the K-1 GP, not no damn disco. Get yo' head in the game.

1st Round: Overeem and Teixeira feel each other out and lock up real quick when Overeem goes for the clinch. After the first lock up Overeem clinches and LANDS A HUGE KNEE knocking Ewerton OUT COLD. One of the most rutal KO's I've seen in K-1 history! The official time is 1:06 of the first round.

Semmy Schilt vs Jerome LeBanner

1st Round: LeBanner comes out swingin, and working his jab. Semmy Schilt lookes like Semmy until he gets hit with a big left straight from Jerome. Semmy returns with his patented Frenkenstein poker face and lands a body kick that drops LeBanner. LeBanner catches his wind and returns back to working the jab and lands another stiff left, but Schilt follows with a front kick that hits Jerome in the same place as the first kick, and drops LeBanner again 2:17 into the first round. Semmy Schilt moves on to the Semifinals!

Remy Bonjasky vs Errol Zimmerman

Dang Errol rollin' out like it's Halloween in his skeleton csotume, that he actually pulls it off. I mean those bad kids from Cobra Kai in Karate Kid didn't even pull off the skeleton costume this tough. Zimmerman kinda look like Tracy McGrady, and Barry Bonds.

1st Round: Errol and Remy feel each other out for a short time, and then Remy starts landin some HEAVY low kicks to the thigh. Zimmerman is fightin wild with flyin knees, and not really bein effective. Bonjasky lands a nuclear right and drops Zimmerman in the last minute of the round, and drops Errol, but Errol makes it to the end of the round.
10-8 fo Remy that round.

2nd Round: Both fighters come on exchanging kicks, but Zimmerman is the more active and throws more flurries throughout the round. Zimmerman threw mo punches this round, and seemed to have hurt Bonjasky towards the end.
10-9 Zimmerman.

3rd Round: Both fighters look a little worn, but moreso Bonjasky, but that doesn't stop him from answering all Zimmerman's attacks. No one really inflicts damage this round. Lefts and rights exchanged with low kicks mixed in, but pretty dang even!
10-10 fo this third round

I scored it 29-28 fo Bonjasky, and the judges feel very similar. Bonjasky moves on to face Semmy Schilt!

SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS:
BADR HARI vs ALISTAIR OVEREEM
SEMMY SCHILT vs REMY BONJASKY
